Criminology programs are designed for students wishing to pursue careers in the criminal justice field, such as police officers, federal officers, probation officers, civil service administrator, community development workers, crime scene investigators, detectives, social or youth workers, but also to find employment outside the criminal justice sector pursuing careers in colleges and universities, legislative bodies or public policy areas to become a social researcher, political risk analyst, local government officer, counselor or border force officer, to name a few.
