Course Information

Here you get the chance to study two fascinating fields in the social sciences. You will spend equal time on both disciplines. You will look into such topics as the effects of social diversity and inequality on crime rates, develop an understanding of a range of research methods and data analysis skills, and develop knowledge of a range of influences on psychological well-being. You will get involved in debate, learn to work independently, demonstrate critical analysis skills and learn how to formulate and evaluate research and data – all skills that will be of huge value in the world of work.

While studying your criminology and psychology degree, you’ll aim to understand the world of social values and behaviours, building a solid foundation in both disciplines. This degree allows students to go on a real journey - from understanding the theories behind committing a crime to how the crime is treated in the legal system. Learning Format

With Arden University's Criminology and Psychology degree, you have the chance to study two fascinating disciplines in the world of social science. By providing you with the fundamentals of each field, we’re preparing you to take your next step in a range of exciting and challenging industries.  

You have 3-9 years to complete this course, meaning that you can take up to 3 years to complete each level. However, many of our students complete their criminology and psychology online courses within 3-6 years.

 

Entry Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualifications in two subjects at GCE A level plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level.
  • If you are not an English native speaker, you will be required to provide us with proof of English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above.
