Course Information

This innovative three/four-year course has been designed to develop the next generation of business leaders, capable of navigating the challenges of the post-covid world. The course has been enriched with a one-year foundation, to help you gain the base knowledge needed to progress onto undergraduate study.

This programme addresses the emerging trends and challenges for business and management in order to form new global business leaders capable of meeting the demands of today’s global industries.

The programme is offered at BSBI’s main campus in Berlin and is also available as part of our International Study Experience which provides students the opportunity to start their studies in Paris, France, and complete their programme in Berlin at BSBI.

This degree is awarded by The University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

Learning format

This programme starts with the foundation year that trains building skills up to the level needed to progress onto undergraduate study. During the second and third semesters, students learn about key business topics including: international business, business, management and the digital economy. In the third year, students need to select a specific pathway in order to specialise in chosen field. Available pathways include:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Logistics, TQM and Supply Chain Management
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media
  • Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management
  • Health Management

The course concludes with a major degree dissertation preparing for future career in professional practice or postgraduate study.

 

Entry requirements

Foundation (International Route):

  • Minimum age 17 (titles awarded upon completion of at least 11 years of schooling)
  • Academic Qualifications ECCTIS UK equivalent to GCSE
  • English Language requirements Official English Tests IELTS – minimum OS 5.0 (with min 4.5 in each component); Password test – minimum OS 5.0 (with min 4.5 in each component) PTE (Academic) – minimum OS of 46 (with min 41 in each component); LanguageCert International ESOL SELT OS B1 Achiever High Pass Duolingo test with an overall score of 95+.

BSc (Hons):

  • Minimum age: 18 years old  (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling)
  • Academic Qualifications: a school leaving certificate that allows you to pursue higher education in Germany (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or International school leaving certificates, or BTEC/National Diploma, or Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education. If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and/or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
  • English language requirements:  Official English Tests IELTS – minimum OS 6.0 (with min 5.5 in each component); Password test – minimum OS 6.0 (with min 5.5 in each component); PTE (Academic) – minimum OS of 56 ( with min 51 in each component); TOEFL IBT OS 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20, Writing 17); Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency OS 69 (min 162 in each component) LanguageCert International ESOL SELT OS B2 Communicator High Pass (min 33 in each component) Duolingo test with an overall score of 105.
