The College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts of the University of Illinois at Chicago is a unique group of schools and affiliated units that focuses on the investigation, creation, and interpretation of physical, social, and sensory environments.
With degree programs in the visual arts, design, architecture, and art history, the college educates the next generation of architects, art historians, designers, museum professionals, and visual and performing artists. The college offers master degrees in the following fields: architecture and art history.

Learning format

The Graduate Catalog in effect when the student begins enrollment in a degree program is the primary source of information on Graduate College policies pertaining to the student.
Many of the university and departmental policies are listed in this catalogue, and most programs have policy manuals for graduate students.
Entry requirements
- Applicants are considered on an individual basis. Complete transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work must be submitted.
- English proficiency is required for the programme.
