Via their Guaranteed Paid Internship Program (GPIP), first-year engineering students have the unique opportunity to serve as paid interns over the summer after their freshman year. They offer a range of programmes in the Engineering discipline.

The students become familiar with the fundamental mathematical and scientific principles that are common to engineering and computer science disciplines. Via individual and group projects, students make use of current techniques, instruments, equipment, and computers, and gain proficiency in communicating the results of their work.
Applicants are considered on an individual basis. Complete transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work must be submitted.
English proficiency is required for the programme.
