Course Information

This programme integrates aspects of finance, global business and human resource management as these are interrelated components within a huge, complex, and dynamic network of supply chain. Through these, you will be able to learn about research-backed strategies, gain specialist practical skills, and grow an entrepreneurial mindset to develop effective and resilient supply chains.

Well-designed curriculum concentrates on examining the socio-economic impact supply chains can have on local community and covering some of today’s and tomorrow’s most pressing global issues, such as sustainability and digitalization. Programme focus is on training an ethical, agile, and creative solutions-focused supply chain manager.

MSc Supply Chain Management programme is Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) accredited. CILT is a professional body for logistics, transport, and supply chain professionals, with more than 33,000 members worldwide. Its accreditation signifies that programme content meets the globally acknowledged benchmark for logistics and transport training. Graduating from MSc Supply Chain Management programme means a graduate automatically meets the education requirements needed for CILT Chartered Membership.

Learning format

This programme consists of four modules followed by research project.
Weekly activities include mix of webinars, forums, and learning activities. In order to complete essays, projects and research project you will be provided with an access to online library where learning materials can be found.

Assessment is made based on a combination of formative and summative assessments. Formative assessment involves tutor feedback on your presentations and other projects, whereas summative assessments will typically take place through essays and assessed coursework.

 

Entry requirements

In order to qualify for the programme, the following criteria need to be met:


- you need to hold at least a 2:2 degree or equivalent professional experience or learning in a related field,
- if you’re looking to progress through the experiential learning route, you’ll need to provide a more detailed personal statement than usual along with a CV highlighting your relevant work experience,
- you may be asked to attend an online, 45-minute interview to discuss your background and interest in the course,
- if English is not your first language, you’ll need to hold a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or an accepted equivalent.
