University of Essex Online - PG Cert Cyber Security

You will study in an interactive Virtual Learning Environment. With engaging, interactive course content, it is specifically designed for students to study online and informed by relevant pedagogic principles.

There are discussions, lecture casts and reading all available in an online format which can be accessed anytime and anywhere.

The PG Cert Cyber Security is made up of modules and, upon completion, is equal to a total of 60 credits.

Applicants normally have an undergraduate degree from an approved institution or an equivalent to a UK Honours degree.

For the work experience entry route, you must have at least three years’ relevant work experience.

As part of the application process, you will be asked to take a short aptitude test. Please note that we will consider your performance in the aptitude test as part of your overall application, so if you don’t pass the test you may still be accepted onto the course.

If English is not your first language, your English ability should be equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5. If you do not hold an IELTS or equivalent qualification, we will ask you to pass our free online English test.
