German International School of Management and Administration (GISMA Business School) has been established in 1999 and since then has paved the way for talented and qualified people to enter the international business world. GISMA partners with a number of prestigious universities and currently has students from over 40 nationalities.
GISMA offers both traditional physical and modern virtual learning spaces that enable the acquisition of future-oriented competencies through state-of-the-art technology, an innovative and creative learning environment, and highly qualified staff. GISMA stands for practical and inspiring management education, where students learn from research-strong professors as well as top executives and founders.
GISMA cooperates with a network of globally active organisations from business and education. It supports business and society by preparing students for management practice in a world characterised by permanent change, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. GISMA offers a learning environment characterised by a high degree of internationality. All programmes are taught in English.
GISMA traditionally delivers programmes on campus, however since April 2020 the school offers also streaming programmes as an option. Streaming programmes allow students to start their academic programmes online, and then continue their studies in a face-to-face environment once they are able to travel to Germany.
The university has its main seat in Potsdam and an additional location in Berlin. Working closely with top European business schools, such as The University of Law, the triple-accredited Grenoble Ecole de Management and Kingston University partner, language, and executive programmes are offered in multiple locations including Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, and London.
The Career Centre at GISMA Business School develops partnerships with companies around Germany to offer the best opportunities to students.
With an 18-month post-study residence permit GISMA graduates can explore exciting career opportunities in Germany and follow other successful graduates working now at Sony, Volkswagen, Deutsche Bahn, Axel Springer Media Group, Continental, Zalando, Wayfair and Taledo, to name a few.
